ABOUT

My mom a beautiful, loving, vibrant woman developed Alzheimer's. As the disease progressed, my mom's ability to communicate and take care of herself diminished and at a certain point my mom need the full time care of a nursing home. Luckily, we found a good place for her to live in a nursing home across the street from my dad. My goal during this time was to stay connected to her and to enjoy the time we could spend together. As my mom's ability to communicate became more difficult, we still found ways to stay connected to her.

I hope sharing my journey of how I was able to stay connected to my mom helps you as you help your loved one while they struggle with Alzheimer's.
